CONGRATULATIONS JOHN HILL our 2011 Winner!

John Hill is a senior at Owosso High who was bullied all through high school. Although he is a black belt in Tae Kwon Do, his method of fighting back wasn't physical. Instead he fought back by creating a program within his high school and online called "STANDING UP"

"John Hill is a true hero and Bully Buster," says Lisa Freeman. "He could have given up when others teased, bullied, harassed and knocked him to the ground, but instead he pressed on, got the help and support he needed, did some healing, and then started a group in his high school & online called Standing Up to help others!"

"It's all about Standing Up for others," John said, "to give other victims and targets the support they need, and a place for all people be free to say what they feel, be who they are, and get the help they need with no bullying and no prejudice or biases."
